MILAN PITLACH
Architekt Milan Pitlach (1943) vystudoval České vysoké učení technické v Praze. Je členem Komory architektů Spolkové republiky Německa i u nás. Působil v Londýně, několik let pracoval v renomovaném ateliéru O.M.Ungerse v Kolíně, posledních několik let žil a tvořil v čínské Šanghaji. Jako architekt se věnuje především obytným a polyfunkčním komplexům a urbanistickým projektům. Za svou činnost získal již mnoho ocenění v České republice i zahraničí. Kromě architektury se věnuje také fotografii, jeho práce a texty soustavně publikuje mimo jiné také Revolver Revue a Kritická Příloha Revolver Revue.
Svoji architektonickou tvorbu shrnul Milan Pitlach již dříve do působivé knihy s názvem Šanghajské koncepty a výstava z velké části jeho práce obsažené v této publikaci představuje vybranými počítačovými vizualizacemi, architektonickými kresbami i fotografiemi realizovaných staveb.
Představí se také několik stránek z nepřeberného množství architektových skicáků a fragmenty fotografického cyklu Milana Pitlacha s názvem Kaligrafie, jež byl inspirován čínskými nápisy a malbami na šanghajských zdech.
